1970 Dodge Super Bee Hard Top

This 1970 Dodge Super Bee two-door hardtop was reportedly refurbished on a rotisserie under previous ownership and is powered by a 383ci V8 mated to an A833 four-speed manual transmission and an 8¾” rear axle. The car is finished in metallic blue over black vinyl upholstery, and equipment includes a dual-scoop N96 hood, white Super Bee tail stripes, a dual exhaust system, power steering, power brakes, Rallye-style 14″ wheels, a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter, and a push-button AM radio. This Super Bee was acquired by the selling dealer in early 2023 and is now offered with a broadcast sheet, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Colorado title.

The car left the factory finished in Bright Blue Metallic (EB5) and is said to have been repainted during the refurbishment under prior ownership. Features include white Super Bee tail stripes, a dual-scoop N96 hood, quad headlights, polished dual exhaust finishers, and a chrome rear bumper and side mirrors.

Silver-finished Rallye-style 14″ steel wheels wear trim rings and are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.

The cabin features front and rear bench seats upholstered in black vinyl accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter, a push-button AM radio, front headrests, lap belts, and woodgrain dashboard trim accents.

The three-spoke steering wheel bears a Dodge Fratzog center cap and frames a 150-mph speedometer, a “tick-tock” 8k-rpm tachometer with inset analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the selling dealer. True mileage is unknown.

The 383ci V8 features a four-barrel carburetor, HP-style exhaust manifolds, and a Ramcharger fresh-air intake system as well as an orange-finished engine block, cylinder heads, and valve covers. An oil change was performed in March 2023.

An engine stamp is shown above which corresponds with the final eight digits of the vehicle serial number.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an A833 four-speed manual transmission and an 8¾” axle. A replacement dual exhaust system has been installed.
