Description
This 1968 Chevrolet C10 is a fleetside pickup that was modified under prior ownership with the installation of a 6.0-liter Vortec V8, a four-speed 4L80E automatic transmission, a lowered suspension, and power steering. The truck is finished in green over green vinyl upholstery, and additional equipment and modifications include a 12-bolt rear axle with a 3.73:1 PosiTraction differential along with 15″ white-painted steel wheels, a wood-lined bed floor, chrome bumpers, and a push-button AM radio. The truck spent time in Washington State before being acquired by the selling dealer in Colorado in January 2023. This C10 is now offered with a clean Colorado title.
The truck wears faded green paint that was clear-coated under prior ownership and features chrome grille trim, bumpers, and window surrounds. Exterior equipment includes vent windows, an oak wood-lined bed floor, T3 headlights, and exhaust outlets behind each rear wheel. Paint and body imperfections are present and can be seen in the gallery.
White-painted 15″ steel wheels wear Chevrolet hubcaps and 215/75 Hankook Kinergy tires. The truck has been lowered 5″ using a Classic Performance Products shock-relocation lowering kit. Power steering is equipped, and braking is handled by four-wheel drums that were serviced under prior ownership with a replacement master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and hoses.
The cab features bench seating upholstered in green vinyl and complimented by a color-coordinated dashboard pad and door panels. Interior equipment includes manually operated windows, a glovebox, a body-color dashboard, a black floor liner, sun visors, a dome light, lap belts for two occupants, and a push-button AM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges displaying fuel level, coolant temperature, battery status, and oil pressure. The selling dealer notes a mechanical speedometer-cable conversion was installed. The five-digit odometer shows 65k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The 6.0-liter Vortec V8 was reportedly sourced from a 2004 Chevrolet and installed under prior ownership. Equipment includes tubular headers, MSD spark plug wires, and an aluminum radiator. The selling dealer notes the fuel system was updated as part of the refurbishment, and the oil was changed in January 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a replacement four-speed 4L80E automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle housing a 3.73:1 PosiTraction differential.
